Sunday 10-10-2022 The Misr Al -Khair Foundation, a leading Egyptian NGO, issued a statement in which the world leaders participating in COP 27 in Sharm El -Sheikh called for their role in protecting people from direct and indirect effects of climate change and saving future generations from the scourge of climate change and its unimaginable destructive effects. The statement also gives a fair warning to every decision maker of any signed decision not to reduce the threats facing developing societies due to climate change and its various effects and starting to act as if there was a crisis. . This statement comes as part of the "regional campaign with a sustainable climate" launched by the Misr Al -Khair Foundation in the partnership of other organizations and joined by 1,200 civil society organizations. Recommendations were developed through 33 working workshops and round tables with the participation of experts in climate, economics and social development and representatives of civil society organizations in addition to official representatives from the Egyptian government, and the statement and the climate work charter of civil organizations was released.
